Pensions: Carsat, Agirc-Arrco… who is affected by the payment of the 4% revaluation this Friday? – Free lunch

Within the framework of the law on purchasing power, the revaluation of 4% of retirement pensions from the general scheme applies. A first good news for retirees. This Friday, September 9, the basic retirement pension increased by 4% as well as its retroactive effect will be paid. This increase applies from July. So retirees will receive their pension increased by 4% for the month of August but also the 4% that had not been paid for the month of July. For example, a basic pension (without additional) which amounts to 1,200 euros, the revaluation will amount to a sum of approximately 48 additional euros each month, for this payment the pensioner will receive double (due to the retroactivity of the month of July), therefore approximately 96 euros. But it is preferable to rely on the average of basic pensions in France which amounts, according to the National pension insurance fund, the CNAV to 704 euros monthly, so the revaluation will amount to the sum of 28 euros . The double for the payment of this month of September. Who is concerned ? The beneficiaries of this revaluation are people receiving survivors’ pensions, beneficiaries of the solidarity allowance for the elderly (Aspa) and the supplementary disability allowance (ASI), as Le Figaro reports. Only the part of the basic plan is concerned, not the part of the complementary. Complementary not yet upgraded… And precisely supplementary pensions, like Agirc-Arrco, are not affected by this upgrade. At least not yet. The social partners will meet to fix a next increase which will have to be effective in November. The national interprofessional agreement provides for entry into force from 1 November. The amount should be set in early October by the social partners meeting within Agirc-Arcco.
