What exactly happened on Tuesday evening is already being investigated by the inspectors of the Aviation and Maritime Investigation Unit from the Ministry of Transport. Their work is greatly complicated by the fact that part of the plane burned down. The Olympian parked the small plane on the meadow, from where he started yesterday. According to the head of the Department of Aviation from the University of Žilina, regardless of the size of the machine, the pilot must know the terrain and should not hover over buildings when taking off. “If I have to fly over a built-up area, I must have enough height to be able to land outside the built-up area and territory,” explains Andrej Novák.
