This was arbitrarily performed by the pilot in violation of the flight manual. “The performance of the familiarization flight was also in violation of the Conditions for the performance of familiarization flights issued by the Office for Civil Aviation,” the institute’s final report reads. The documents also show that the critical situation occurred when the pilot took the plane into a steep climb, when he probably wanted to make a right turn. “He initiated the aerobatic element at a low altitude and probably with a lower entry speed, causing the aircraft to not reach the altitude that the pilot imagined. The pilot ended the aerobatic element at a lower speed and altitude than planned and the aircraft went into a wing stall followed by a spin , which the pilot tried to remove by interfering with the steering. Considering the loss of speed and the low altitude on the terrain, the pilot was unable to prevent the impact with the ground,” the report reads.
