They are doing it with the aim of properly scaring people and complicating an already complicated situation,” Sulík said at the beginning, adding that he humanly understands that the worse is the better for them, but he will prefer to speak facts and arguments. However, he did not confront Krajniak and has no plans to do so. “We mainly need to explain to the public that this is not the case,” he said. Krajniak stated on the social network that the fee for electricity distribution, which Sulík estimated at 50.49 euros, should be approximately double, according to the head of the Office for the Regulation of Network Industries (ÚRSO), Andrej Juris. “So who doesn’t understand or misleads? Sulík (SaS) or Juris (nominee of Sulík and SaS),” asked Krajniak. According to the Minister of Labor, the total price of electricity including TSS should rise to 265.78 euros per MWh. “But don’t worry, somehow we will clean up the chaos in the energies on the ‘golden tray’ that they left here,” he added. Krajniak is deliberately introducing “Minister Krajniak is deliberately introducing here,” emphasized Sulík. “He was alerted to the fact that the ÚRSO estimated this price at more than 100 euros, but the ÚRSO did not have information at the time that the losses would also be covered by the cheap electricity that we negotiated with Slovak Power Plants,” Sulík added. As an example, he cited the reduction of VAT on heat from central heating. “This must be done by the Ministry of Finance and approved by the government and parliament,” added the outgoing head of the Ministry of Economy. However, several measures – for example, compensation for entrepreneurs – cannot be implemented without the Ministry of Finance releasing money from the state budget. The European Commission will not yet allow money from unused European funds to be used for them.
