Investigators examining the attempted assassination of Argentina’s Vice President, Cristina Fernández, suspect that the attacker, Fernando Sabag Montiel, planned the attack in advance, after finding images on his mobile phone in which both he and his partner, also arrested, pose with the alleged weapon. For the researchers, these images, taken several months ago, would support the thesis that it was not an improvised attack.
