This is how the Labaj family returned from the forest. They brought almost 50 kilograms of oak trees. “Yesterday we managed to catch a record. We found 737 oak trees,” says mushroom picker Radoslav Labaj. They spent about 4 hours in the woods near Zvolen. Even they did not expect that they would find such a large number of oak trees. “We didn’t even dream of that, but it was a joy when a person went and found the first oak and next to it the second, third, fourth. Some, like the ones here, were in three or four pieces,” he adds. They have been to the mushroom fields 4 times in the last few days and together they collected more than 1400 mushrooms.
