Hallucinate with the “CopterPack”, a backpack with propellants that will make you feel like a real superhero – Urban Tecno

The project is still in an early stage of development, but we have already seen it work. 09/03/2022 19:00The motor world is completely transforming. The most obvious change is the current drift towards the electric format for all types of vehicles, something that will continue to grow in the coming years. The change to the electric car is what touches us most closely because they are vehicles that we use every day, but technology is advancing in all directions, and there are other means of transport that are also evolving. This is the case of electric scooters for urban mobility, but in this case we are not going towards the small scale, quite the opposite. CopterPack is the name with which its creators have baptized this incredible backpack with propellants. The company, with the name of the same name, explains on its website how this particular “gadget” works, which turns you into a helicopter with legs. The structure is designed so that the human body itself serves as a kind of counterweight, allowing the pilot to change direction at will. It works with a Joystick control system so that the movement is very precise. It is extremely light and we have already been able to see it in action. The project is still in an early stage of development, but the flight tests are amazing to say the least. At the moment it is confirmed that the CoperPack works with a fully electric propulsion system, which is what powers the two rotors on each side of the backpack. Those two rotors are the most striking part of the structure, as they are linked together with carbon fiber bars and connect to the harness that supports the pilot. In action, it looks like a strange humanoid drone soaring through the skies. The project could speed up and improve the scope and response of rescue missions. For practical purposes, there are sectors where this type of flying accessories would be very useful. Propelled devices for rescue work have been experimented with before and have proven to be extremely useful. The usual rescue procedure in rough terrain is currently limited to helicopter operations, but gadgets like the CoperPack could offer a much faster and more efficient option for a paramedic to travel to the scene of an incident in a matter of minutes. This incredible backpack with Propellers could have great benefits in dangerous situations // CopterPackAt the moment, as we have already mentioned, there is still a lack of a final version of this particular backpack with propellants, but the company’s goal is to commercialize it when the time comes. On their YouTube channel they upload all the flight tests they are carrying out and show the progress of the design on video, with which they have been working for a year now.
