A Southwest Airlines passenger airdropped a nude photo of himself to fellow passengers

Passenger attacks Southwest airline employee in Atlanta 1:30 (CNN) — The pilot of a Southwest Airlines flight has threatened to cancel takeoff after someone on the plane sent a nude photo to other passengers.
The incident, involving Apple’s AirDrop file transfer service, took place on a flight from Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. “So here’s the deal, if this continues while we’re on the ground I’m going to have to back up to the gate, everybody’s going to have to get off, we’re going to have to get security involved and… the holidays are over.” they’re going to screw up,” the pilot is heard saying in a video that has been viewed nearly 2.7 million times on TikTok. “So folks, whatever this AirDrop thing is, stop sending nude photos and let’s go to Cabo.” Passenger Teighlor Marsalis recorded the video and told CNN that she and her friends had just boarded the plane when she and people around her received notification that files were being shared via AirDrop. Marsalis said that she had rejected the file, but two women in front of her accepted it and showed him the photo of her. “He was a naked man who had been AirDrop’d all over the world,” she said. Marsalis said she saw another woman become upset by the photos and report what was happening to a flight attendant. A flight attendant went to tell the pilot what had happened, and Marsalis said she started recording video because she thought something was going to happen to her. “The safety, security and well-being of customers and employees is the Southwest team’s top priority at all times. When they are made aware of a potential issue, our employees address issues to support the comfort of those who travel with us.” “Southwest Airlines said in a statement. Marsalis said the pilot was very professional about it and handled the situation well. A flight attendant went to check on everyone, and after about ten minutes, the crew went over their safety procedures and took off. Marsalis claimed that nothing else happened on the flight. — CNN’s Pete Muntean contributed to this report.
