New episode in the Pogba affair. After his name was mentioned, French international Kilian Mbappé wanted to learn more. According to information from M6, supplemented by RTL, the PSG striker contacted Paul Pogba and his brother Mathias to understand why he was involved in this scandal. The exchanges between the different parties, which began with the first tweets from the older brother, took place directly as well as via the players’ entourage. Even if it is not known which of the concerned took his phone first, it is clear that Mbappé wanted to hear the versions of the two main protagonists in order to form his own opinion on the subject. The striker’s entourage assured that the Pogba brothers had said “what they could and wanted to say”. The two French internationals are well aware that the affair is explosive and harmful for the France team, hence the importance of discussing this subject, without obviously confirming Mathias’s statements. As a reminder, the name of Kylian Mbappé appeared for a rather incongruous reason in this dark affair. In one of his videos, Mathias Pogba claims to have messages showing his little brother speaking to a marabout so that he casts a spell on the PSG striker.
