The guests had an excellent start to the match and took the lead in the 3rd minute when Nikola Krstovič scored. Slovan did not know how to get into dangerous situations for a long time, but in the second half he pushed the opponent and in the 72nd minute he managed to equalize from a penalty converted by Eric Ramirez. It was the second loss of points in the season for the Whites, and at the top of the table they have a four-point lead over second-placed Trnava. Dunajská Streda is fourth with 12 points. We knew that DAC would give a completely different performance than against Trenčín, where nothing went right for him. Krstovič showed quality, it’s a promising player, excellent in the penalty area. We were weak in the penalty area twice in the beginning and the opponent punished us for that. We replaced two players at half-time. Ďuro Kucka came to stir up the game. Later we played with three attackers again. The second half was much better from our side, we were more dominant, but we had several half chances and not a howl they chase the opportunity to score. We have to convert the chances we already had better. As the end of the match approached, our inaccuracies in the centers increased, the unfavorable condition tied our legs. The result is not what we wanted, but I praised the players for the second half, they went all the way. The entry helped us, we quickly took a 1:0 lead, which stunned Slovan. However, he didn’t give us anything in the second half. He was dominant, he showed quality. We, in turn, demonstrated a different team spirit and cohesion than in the previous duels. From my side, tactically we wanted to keep certain elements in the match. We managed that until the goal. However, we must be more accurate and productive in counterattacks. We proved that we can keep up even with a stronger opponent.
