In addition to the training sessions they complete every day, yesterday they participated in a summer tournament of players from the NHL, AHL and the best players from overseas junior leagues. Both Slovaks showed themselves in a very good light. The LSHL tournament takes place in a three-on-three system on a smaller ice rink. Slovak hockey players presented themselves at the tournament together with teammates Nick Suzuki and Josh Anderson. However, other players from the best league in the world were also on the ice, such as David Perron, Kris Letang and Pierre-Luc Dubois. The team with Slovaks in the lineup worked great. The couple Slafkovský – Mešár took care of several great offensive attacks. Thanks to that, their team made it to the finals. Juraj Slafkovský’s skillful hands were shown in it. Peter Fosrberg used a feint when attacking the goalkeeper and put the puck behind the goalkeeper very effectively. However, even this goal did not prevent the loss of the “Slovak” team. They lost 8:13 in the final, and Slovakia’s teammates – Nick Suzuki and Josh Anderson – rejoiced at the victory in the tournament.
