Many users claim to see “unusual” posts on the News Feed. Instead of the usual news feed featuring photos and videos from accounts they follow, users say they see a whole different type of content. For example, posts shared on the pages of well-known musical public figures, such as Queen, Eminem or Metallica, despite the fact that the users have no connection with the accounts from which the post originated, or even with the pages artists involved. On the Down Detector website, which is supposed to report breakdowns and technical problems with applications, 82% of the problems reported actually concern publication bugs. At present, it is not yet possible to know when these technical problems will be resolved. Facebook has yet to comment on the situation.
