War in Ukraine: US to send $3 billion in military aid to kyiv – The Independent

This Wednesday, August 24, Washington is preparing to announce aid of 3 billion euros for Ukraine, the largest granted by the United States since the start of the conflict. The United States is expected to announce on Wednesday a new delivery of arms to Ukraine for a total amount of about 3 billion dollars, a US official said on Tuesday. It will be formalized this Wednesday, August 24, Ukrainian National Day, a date which coincides with the 6 months of the conflict. This military aid would be the most important released by the United States in favor of Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion of this country by Russia on February 24. A little earlier in the evening, it was the German government which announced that it would provide aid to kyiv, up to 500 million euros, for its part.
