La Dépêche du Midi gave an update on the weather forecast for this Tuesday, August 24. The thermometer shows 14 to 18 degrees in general and up to 19 to 24 along the Mediterranean coasts. As for temperatures, the maximums are on the rise, between 22 and 26 degrees on the Channel coasts, between 30 and 34. The heat peak is expected in the South-West with 36 degrees around Toulouse, Agen and Montauban. Storm alert in the west of the country Showers are expected in the Bordeaux region and the Charente coast in the evening. Risks of thunderstorms are to be expected in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and in the Hautes-Pyrénées. The 20 departments of the West of France are placed in yellow vigilance with the storms.
