We never fall asleep arguing, says Mária Čírová and Maroš. Parents and age difference did not stop their love – Dobré noviny

Mária Čírová is one of the most popular Slovak singers. And although she moves in the waters of show business, people also remember her thanks to her idyllic family life, which she presents on social networks. It is based on a solid marriage with music producer Marián Kachút. The couple met for the first time when Mária was only 18 years old. At that time, she had no idea that she would later start a family with Marián, who was 15 years older. Their paths crossed in 2008 at the Coca Cola Popstar competition – she became its final winner, he was a judge. The talented singer is said to have caught his eye immediately. “I remember very well the moment when I saw Maria for the first time. It was on the ship where the semi-finals of the competition took place. There was a beautiful girl standing there, looking intently at the stage,” he told Nový Čas. Fateful meeting At that time, he had no idea that in a few weeks they would meet in person, although Mária did not notice him in the beginning. The reason was prosaic – she was consumed by nervousness before the performance. “I was very nervous, I had probably the first coffee in my life before the performance. The guys from the band advised me to do it to have energy. However, it affected me in such a way that my heart was pounding wildly and I could not perceive anything around me. When she arrived at the studio, Marian was not there yet. “Suddenly he came and when I saw him standing in the doorway, I said to myself: And who is this?! And that was Maroš Kachút,” he recalls. They wrote to each other until half past four in the morning. Recording the album brought many opportunities for the couple to get closer. However, it was not only a personal contact, but also an online one. As Marián says, the work emails were followed by long debates on the Internet. Mária adds that sometimes they had fun like this for six hours. “I’ve never done it before or since, because I basically don’t enjoy chatting,” the man added. The singer says that she often did not know how to leave the conversation, which was also noticed by those around her. “Everyone around me kept telling me: Come eat already, come have dinner and come to sleep… And I: No, no, leave me alone!” I have to write,” she explained.
