Bose QC45: the new headphones from Bose reveals all its secrets

After the QC35 II and the Headphones 700, here is the QC45. Well almost, because the information revealed by the site WinFuture has (yet) nothing official. In the ultra-competitive market for noise-canceling headphones, Bose is about to cut down on its new card. For the surprise effect, we’ll come back, WinFuture took care of everything.

Bose QC45: a new competitor to AirPods Max and Sony WH-1000XM4

The German specialist site first got its hands on the official product visuals. Nothing new in the tropics, the QC45 is an almost identical replica of its predecessor, the QC35 II launched almost four years ago.

The QC45 will therefore be essentially made of nylon and synthetic leather and equipped with physical buttons for music control. The right earpiece should always be covered with a tactile surface allowing you to switch from one track to another or even activate bluetooth. On the left, actions on the earpiece would launch the voice assistant and allow switching from one noise reduction mode to another.

The only distinguishing feature compared to the QC35 II: the integration of a USB-C for charging in addition to a 3.5 mm jack (for wired listening).

Most of the changes are therefore technical. Still according to WinFuture, the QC45 would embed a transparent mode in addition to active noise reduction to meet current trends.

It would also take a discovery feature in Google Pixel Buds : automatic equalizer. Roughly speaking, the microphones pick up the surrounding sounds then clever algorithms establish a 3D diagram of the environment and adapt the sound accordingly.

Bose would also have optimized the autonomy of its new headphones. The 460 mAh battery promises 24 hours of autonomy with active noise reduction, against 20 hours for the previous model despite a larger battery (495 mAh). A full charge would last 2h30 but the headphones would be able to recover 2h30 of listening in 15 minutes of charging.

“Soon available” for less than 350 euros

Decidedly well informed, WinFuture announces that the QC45 will be ” Coming soon “ in Germany. We can therefore expect a French announcement in the coming weeks, as manufacturers are used to synchronizing launches in the main European countries.

The good surprise would come from the price of the QC45 since WinFuture advertises it at 329 dollars in the United States, which is 20 dollars less than the QC35 II and 70 euros less than the Headphones 700 to their launches. In Europe, the price would be around 330 euros, much less than the Sony WH-1000XM4 and especially) the AirPods Max.
