Casemiro’s first reaction after leaving Real Madrid – AS

Carlos Henrique Casimiro is already the history of Real Madrid. Yesterday, his departure to Manchester United was made official, ending an eight-year period with the Merengue team. Considered one of the team’s captains without a bracelet and, moreover, one of the men most loved by Real Madrid, there have been many reactions and messages of thanks in recent hours. This morning, the first reaction from Casemiro himself has arrived via Twitter. The former Madrid soccer player wanted to share a message full of affection for what he considers “will always be his home” and for Real Madrid. The tweet, accompanied by a photo greeting the Santiago Bernabéu and another holding the ‘orejona’ with Kroos and Modric, reads as follows: “It has been the most wonderful story I ever thought of. I hope to return one day to what will always be my home. Not in a thousand lifetimes will I be able to return to Real Madrid and Real Madrid all that you have given me. Forever… Hala Madrid!” With five Champions Leagues, three Leagues, one Copa del Rey, three Club World Cups, three European Super Cups and three from Spain under his arm, Casemiro leaves for British lands in search of a new adventure. He does it like a living legend for a Real Madrid whose intention is to pay him an act of homage next Monday at 11:30 am. I have lived the most wonderful story that I ever thought. I hope to return one day to what will always be my home. Not in a thousand lifetimes will I be able to give back to @realmadrid and Real Madrid all that you have given me. Forever… Hala Madrid! 🤍💜 pic.twitter.com/VH91DA3HJW— Casemiro (@Casemiro) August 20, 2022.
