Tour of Spain – Thibaut Pinot: “We are in good shape for this Vuelta!” – Cycling News

One could expect such a performance. Having worked specifically on the team time trial for many years, the Groupama-FDJ team set a good time this Friday during the first stage of the Tour of Spain. The French World Tour team thus finished 38 seconds behind the Jumbo-Visma formation. The leader – Thibaut Pinot (32) – took stock of this time trial. “It’s a very good performance, but we knew we had a homogeneous team and locomotives like Bruno Armirail or Miles Scotson. We knew we had the potential, we had to validate it on the course, and that’s what we did. We don’t have the automatisms that others can have, but it shows that we are solid and in good shape for this Vuelta”, explains the French climber to his training.Video – Team Jumbo -Visma by Primoz Roglic hit hard!
