On Wednesday August 10, the grand finale of Beijing Express, shock duos was broadcast. A season in which only celebrities participated, all in pairs with a loved one. It was finally Inès Reg and her sister Anaïs who won the victory after six weeks of adventure, against Rachel Legrain-Trapani and Valentin Léonard. Several days later, the comedian decided to do a Live Instagram with host Stéphane Rotenberg to take stock of the season. Inès Reg notably sought to know what he had thought of each of the candidates. And when the time came to mention Valentin Léonard, Stéphane Rotenberg could only side with Internet users, very annoyed by his behavior throughout the season. “We’ll say things … When he’s in stress, it’s on the verge of being watchable: he’s unpleasant, more with Rachel than with us. With us, he was relatively easy. There, we’re embarrassed , it’s complicated not to be embarrassed”, he confessed. And for him to salute, on the contrary, the good temperament and the strength of Rachel Legrain-Trapani: “He understood that he was the weak link of the pair. The stronger of the two is her. think. She’s better than him. Maybe even in life, she holds the thing, it’s a rock, it’s more fragile, it’s carried by her nerves”. Stéphane Rotenberg nevertheless wishes to recognize in Valentin Léonard the courage to “publicly apologize” each time he exceeded the limits. “He apologized, he overwhelmed himself, unfortunately he had trouble resisting against his nature. But I said to myself ‘is this a posture?’, I believed him when he did it in front of all of us. (…) I like the idea of a guy admitting his wrongs, and he did it with sincerity,” he said.
