Tour of Spain 2022 – The general classification of the favorites: Primoz Roglic takes the “head”, Remco Evenepoel in good shape – Eurosport FR

It’s not red but it’s just like. In the last hectometres of the team time trial in Utrecht, Primoz Roglic came back in the middle of his teammates, suggesting that he was going to cross the line in the lead and thus put on the first leader’s jersey. The Jumbo-Visma finally offered this honor to its Dutchman, Robert Gesink (36 years old). The fact remains that it is the Slovenian who performs the best operation among the leaders.Impressive, the Jumbo Visma crushes the team time trial: the arrival in videoTour of SpainAugust 20, 2021: The day Valverde believed that it was the end3 HOURS AGOBehind him, Richard Carapaz took advantage of a very solid INEOS Grenadiers team around Ethan Hayter, Dylan van Baarle or Ben Turner. The Ecuadorian, but also Tao Geoghegan Hart and Pavel Sivakov are 13 seconds behind Roglic, one less than Remco Evenepoel (Quick-Step-Alpha Vinyl). The little Belgian prodigy impressed, especially at the cost of a last stint during which his teammates seriously stuck their tongues out to hang on his wheel. Behind these three teams, the gap is more important: Simon Yates (BikeExchange – Jayco) is at 31 seconds, Joao Almeida (UAE Team Emirates) at 33. “Remco is going too fast!” : Evenepoel lets go of his teammates on his last stintFurther, you have to go down to 41 seconds to find the Bora-Hansgrohe of Jai Hindley and Wilco Kelderman, to 42 for Mikel Landa and the Bahrain-Victorious. Enric Mas, a minimum candidate for the podium, made a bad operation even if it was expected with a disbursement amounting to 43 seconds, just ahead of the 46 of Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana). Ben O’Connor and the AG2R-Citroën conceded 55 seconds, the score is salty for the EF Education-EasyPost of Rigoberto Uran and Esteban Chaves (1’19”).
