Sex after surgery? A woman received a leaflet in the hospital with recommended positions: Funny reactions, even healthy people couldn’t handle THIS – Topky.sk

London-based geographic researcher Carla Barrett shared on TikTok a shot of a simple flyer she received after being diagnosed with hip dysplasia. The medical guide, titled “Sexual Relations”, contains small illustrations of four sexual positions with short instructions on how to do each one, writes The Mirror. Barrett expressed her disappointment with the flyer, decrying its lack of creativity and questioning the extent to which the locations catered to her demographic. “When I went in for a hip replacement, the hospital management gave me a leaflet on how to have sex after surgery,” she said. “Hats off for providing me with something like this, especially since the main demographic for this leaflet is probably patients in their 70s and 80s. Although it does raise a few questions,” added Barrett. Finally, she pointed out that the information leaflet did not help her at all, because she is not in a heterosexual relationship. TikTok users were left shocked by Barrett’s comedic reaction to the flyer. Some even admitted that they would not be able to do the positions from the leaflet even without hip replacement. I was told that these are old rules that no longer need to be followed. I can do splits and bend,” said one commenter. In another great comment, a TikTok user revealed how helpful this guideline can be for older patients. “Here’s an orthopedic nurse: you’d be surprised how many people in their 70s and 80s are asking for this information,” the commenter said.
