The Finnish Prime Minister had fun at a wild party: She had to take a DRUG test! – Topky.sk

“I took a drug test today and the results will be available within a week,” said Marinová at the press conference. “I have never used drugs in my life,” she added. Opposition politicians and members of her government coalition called on the prime minister to undergo drug tests. They were reacting to a video published on Thursday, in which the 36-year-old politician is having fun at a party, which drew criticism. “I believe that people have an understanding that free time and working time can be separated,” said Marinová, whose comments were relayed by the BBC. Marinová became prime minister in 2019 at the age of 34 and since then she has organized parties in her official residence several times. In December 2021, she faced intense criticism for attending a dance party until the early hours of the morning despite knowing she had been exposed to the contagious disease COVID-19. A public opinion poll for Finnish television MTV3 at the time showed that two-thirds of respondents considered the night out partying to be a “serious mistake” by Marin.
