Newsfilter: Jankovská abused justice as a politician, why should she stop doing it as a defendant – Denník N

The news was selected and commented by Jana Shemesh 1. Perhaps we didn’t expect it to go smoothly. The first hearing in the case of the former state secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Monika Jankovská, who, together with her saint Peter Vasko and former high-ranking police official Róbert Krajmer, is accused of blackmailing a witness, was very short. It was not possible to hear the case, because Jankovská did not pick up her mail, and they were only able to deliver the indictment to her on Monday, which was less than the legally required five days before the start of the trial. They tried to deliver the indictment to Jankovská from the beginning of July – first by mail, then the police were at her address six times. It finally happened when the judge contacted her lawyer. It is quite understandable that in Trnava, where the trial is taking place, the assembled journalist community came up with questions as to whether it was an obstruction.
