Singer presents its first convertible restomod: a Porsche 930 Turbo 964 – Motor Journalism

Singer goes one step further in his work on Porsche: the company has presented its first convertible restomod, the Turbo Study, based on a Porsche 930 Turbo 964. It is a complete job that brings the model up to date in all areas and whose result is simply spectacular. The Porsche 911 debuts a remodeled suit, made of carbon fiber, which respects the original design and takes it one step further. It maintains the characteristic round front headlights, the Cadiz red bodywork is combined with black plastic moldings on the bottom and sides, it wears black and silver Fuchs-style wheels, and, of course, the characteristic rear spoiler is still present. Singer presents a new, more powerful and sporty Turbo Study Inside, the remodeling is even greater, with a three-spoke steering wheel behind which is a frame made up of five analog clocks. A strip of red wood occupies the lower part of the dashboard and the upholstery combines black leather with Tartan-type checkered cloth. In addition, current extras such as air conditioning or the induction charging system for the smartphone have been included. Mechanically, it mounts an evolution of the Mezger engine, an air-cooled six-cylinder, which in this case has 3.8 liters and mounts two turbos. It develops a power of 517 hp, is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox and sends power to the rear wheels, although customers can also opt for the integral.
