Meghan and Harry back in the UK next month

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit several charities in September. This is their first trip to the UK since the Queen’s Jubilee in June. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have already announced their return to the UK, two months after Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex “are very pleased to visit several charities close to their hearts in early September,” their spokesperson said in a statement. Their schedules will be busy. They will attend the One Young World 2022 Manchester Summit on September 5, where Meghan Markle will give a speech. On September 6, they will be in Germany, for the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf. Then return to the United Kingdom on September 8, for the WellChildAwards. During their last visit to the United Kingdom, Harry and Meghan participated in the celebrations of the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, for her 70 years of reign. They were able to see the royal family again, and took advantage of the trip to celebrate the birthday of their daughter Lilibeth. Prince Harry went to the UN headquarters in New York on July 18, where he gave a speech to the occasion of Nelson Mandela International Day. He mentioned the former South African leader, but also his mother, Princess Diana, and the climate crisis.
