Clamor in Íllora against the aggressors of Juan, who died at parties: they enter their houses shouting “murderers” – EL ESPAÑOL

The people of Íllora (Granada) have come en masse to ask for “justice for Juan” for the death of the 19-year-old. First, those attending the demonstration met at the town hall and then went to the houses of the two alleged aggressors. “Assassins, assassins, assassins”, they have shouted, while breaking down the door of one of the presumed aggressors, who are in search and capture. Juan died in the early hours of Saturday to Monday when he was returning from the Íllora fairgrounds. There, he was with his friends. He danced, had a few laughs and, ultimately, enjoyed the night. But, when he returned, at 07:00 in the morning, he found the aggressors. He was five minutes from his house, after leaving the fair’s disco booth, on Diego de Siloé Street, when he bumped into a group of young people. They pushed him and he fell to the ground. He hit the curb and managed to get up. But he was only able to go 20 meters when he lost consciousness. Demonstration in Íllora (Granada) for the death of Juan The aggressors continued to kick him and the 19-year-old died when he was transferred by the ambulance. The aggressors, two men identified by the police, are still in search and capture. After the brawl, they fled the town. “They were going for another, but, as they found him, they got into a fistfight with Juan,” his friends acknowledged in conversation with the Ideal newspaper in Granada. “Good kid” Juan was well liked in the town. This course, he had been studying at the University of Granada and had returned to Íllora this summer to enjoy the holidays. “I can’t find the words to describe the pain and anger I feel right now. I can only speak of Juan as an exemplary child in all aspects: responsible, respectful, sportsman, good student, exemplary son and faithful friend. There is no right to what they have done with him, no one deserves such an end, much less Juan,” wrote Juan de Dios Núñez Morales, a local councilor, on his Facebook account. Both he and his family were well loved in the town. His father, Andres Trujillos, is part of the local Popular Party, his mother, Reyes, is a lawyer, and his little brother, Andres, is an example for boys his age. Demonstration The town of just over 10,000 inhabitants has turned to Juan’s family and the Civil Guard to try to find the alleged aggressors as soon as possible. For this reason, the demonstration became a via crucis until they found the alleged murderers of Juan. The neighbors enter the house of the presumed murderers First, the people gathered around the town hall, where the mayor summoned them, to condemn the facts. “You have to call things by their name. They are murderers,” some of the attendees shouted. Later, in command, led by Juan’s friends, all the attendees went to the house of one of the alleged murderers. “They broke the door down, broke the glass and threw stones through the windows… But they didn’t find anyone,” a neighbor told EL ESPAÑOL. The residents of Íllora cry out for justice for the death of Juan Later, the crowd of people went to the house of the other alleged aggressor escorted by the Civil Guard, but they did not find the aggressor either. “There’s no one here,” they said to each other.
