PEOPLE – The singer Pirate’s heart has just announced, this August 16, 2021, to be pregnant of her second child. It’s on Instagram that Quebec artist 31-year-old broke the news. She reveals her rounded belly in a shiny dress. “Side project planned for the end of January 2022. We are very happy”, she writes in the caption of the photo.

But the artist is well aware that a pregnancy can delight as well as worry her fans who will be waiting for her on stage. “And for well-meaning people who might wonder if I continue my tour, the answer is yes,” she said. Especially since she has to release a new album next fall.

Cœur de Pirate’s subscribers were quick to congratulate her: “Nice little project! Congratulations! ”,“ What love and a lot of health ”,“ I am too moved by this news, congratulations and what good for the coming months ”, we could read in the comment of his publication. Nevertheless, the interpreter of “Comme des enfants” did not disclose whether it was a girl or a boy.

It was at the age of 22 that the Quebecer had her first child, a girl named Romy, with his companion Alex Peyrat. But their romance was not always quiet. In June 2016, the singer got into a relationship with a woman after having come out, but their relationship will only last a few months. She will finally return to the arms of her former companion whom she married in March 2017, and with whom she now expects to be able to bottle-feed her next child.
