The £25 (€29) swimming pool that Alex ordered for her four-legged pet Tony is actually the size of a regular water bowl. So the dog can just drink from it and not cool down his whole body, as his owner had originally planned. “So I thought Tony was going to have a wading pool,” she says in the video. This captures her picking up a small container, dropping it on the floor and calling out to her dog. When he stands up to it, his head is bigger than the container itself. “I hate the internet. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry,” says an American from Seattle who lives in Britain. Users shared their reactions in the comments section and reminded Alex why she shouldn’t always shop online. “It’s an expensive water bowl!” stated one of them. Another asked if it was a hamster pool. A few people asked the author of the post if she had read the product description properly. She answered yes. “I made this mistake last summer!” a guy confessed. Another advised that if the dimensions are not listed on the product, people should not buy it.
