The Donovalsky drapák race was marked by tragedy. After reaching the finish line in Donovaly, the 47-year-old competitor fell unconscious and had no vital signs present. The tragedy occurred on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services from the Veľká Fatra Regional Center were called to the scene. After their arrival, the 47-year-old man was being revived by the emergency services present. “Shortly after that, the crew of the RZP Staré Hory arrived on the scene and together with the HZS continued with extended CPR. Within a few minutes, the crew of the RLP from Banská Bystrica also arrived on the scene. Unfortunately, despite the great efforts of all involved, the patient could not be saved,” informs the HZS on social network.
