Source: Ford Ford presented a new model for the Chinese market. It’s a facelifted Explorer. Ford is gradually transferring more and more models intended for one particular market to global markets in order to increase its offer and reach a larger number of customers. He writes about his new Chinese model that American sophistication meets Chinese sophistication. Who knows if communication set up in this way will be successful. However, from our point of view, the model has something that its European counterpart lacks. At the same time, it is the same car that is based on the American current generation of the Explorer model, which came to the market in 2019. However, while the European received the Explorer practically without fundamental modifications and in plug-in hybrid form (which has been available on the domestic market for a few years the American market), the car came to China with a refreshed face and richer equipment. And especially with a large display, which the European and also the American model lacks. But it must be said that few people outside of China would have expected such a huge display as this Chinese variant received. The diagonal is 27 inches and Ford has already installed the display in the Evos model, but it is not available in Europe. The car stands on 21-inch wheels, has different headlight graphics and a different radiator grille. And if you expect such a display to eventually appear in the US and the EU, you can prepare a sad face, because this solution remains reserved for China. Maybe with the next facelift…
