Prosecutor General Maroš Žilinka will not submit a proposal to dissolve the ĽSNS. This was pointed out by Markíza television, TASR was confirmed by the spokesperson of the General Prosecutor’s Office (GP) of the Slovak Republic Dalibor Skladan. “For the time being, the Prosecutor General of the Slovak Republic has not found the conditions for filing a lawsuit for the dissolution of the political party Kotlebovci – Ludová strana Naše Slovensko according to section 384 et seq. of the Administrative Court Code,” said Skladan. The Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic has already dealt with the proposal to dissolve the parliamentary ĽSNS once, in 2019. It rejected the proposal of the then Prosecutor General Jaromír Čižnár from May 2017. This year, for example, the government parties SaS and For the People and the non-parliamentary movement Progresívne Slovensko spoke about the fact that the General Prosecutor’s Office should once again deal with a possible proposal to dissolve the ĽSNS.
