According to the portal, the investigator proposes to indict Marian Kočner, Jana Šlachtová and Petr Pecha in relation to the Donovaly case for the crime of failure to pay taxes and insurance premiums in the case of the Šport and Residence hotels. “They changed owners three times on paper in 2010 and 2012. The transactions resulted in VAT refunds for eight million euros and the same loss on the part of the state. According to the police’s suspicions, the hotels were controlled by Marian Kočner the whole time,” Aktuality.sk reported. Regarding the golf course in the village of Báč, according to the portal, together with Marian Kočner and Peter Pech, they proposed to indict the creditor and lawyer Ján F. Marian Kočner in this case according to Aktualít, he first controlled the company that owned the Welten area through a lien, then sold its shares and transferred the lien to a depository company, in order to finally buy the area at a fraction of the actual price after the auction.
