Other warnings also apply In addition, the SHMÚ also issued second level warnings for Thursday, except for some regions in the mentioned regions, they also apply to the entire Trenčín and Košice regions, as well as to most of the Prešovský and Žilina regions. Temperatures can rise to 36 or 37 degrees Celsius. The regions in the north of Slovakia will not escape the heat either. A first level warning applies to the districts of Kežmarok, Stará Ľubovňa, Dolný Kubín, Liptovský Mikuláš, Námestovo, Ružomberok, Tvrdošín and Čadca.
