A temperature record has fallen in Britain, for the first time in the country they measured more than 40 degrees Celsius. At London’s Heathrow Airport, they recorded 40.2 degrees. The previous maximum of 38.7 degrees was registered in 2019. The British Meteorological Office said on Twitter that the temperature will continue to rise during the day. Due to the high temperatures, railway traffic stopped in the country on Monday and today, some schools have canceled classes, and state institutions and museums are also limiting their activities.
