A bus driver from Slovakia beat a female passenger, also from Slovakia, in Austria over the weekend for complaining about his driving style. The Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung informs about it. The incident occurred after the driver of a bus heading from Slovakia to South Tyrol in Italy stopped at a gas station in Lienzi, Austria, to take a short break. “One of the passengers (37) complained to the 34-year-old driver about his allegedly aggressive driving and told him that she wanted to get out,” the police said. The Slovak driver lost control, knocked the passenger to the ground and started beating her. He only stopped when they intervened other passengers. “The driver then continued driving. The woman stayed at the gas station and reported the case to the police,” the Austrian police said in a statement. Shortly afterwards, a police patrol stopped the bus and detained the driver, who is now being prosecuted.
