Almería adds a third case of monkeypox – La Voz de Almería

Miguel Cabrera 13:59 • 19 Jul. 2022 As happened last Friday, Almería has added another case of monkeypox diagnosed, with which there are already three active in the province, which however remains the least affected by this disease in Andalusia. According to data from the Board’s Health Department, updated as of July 18, there are 260 active cases in the community, 20 more than on Friday. The province with the most positives is also by far Malaga, with 130, followed very far by Seville with 59; Cadiz with 20; Córdoba and Granada, both with 18; Huelva with eight; four with Jaén and Almería with three. In addition, there are 60 under investigation and 142 have been discarded, among those who had previously been declared to the Epidemiological Surveillance System Network of Andalusia (SVEA). Likewise, 91 previously confirmed cases are already inactive.
