On Tuesday (July 19), a reconstruction of the secret meetings that were supposed to take place in the fall of 2017 is taking place at the Government Office of the Slovak Republic. They were allegedly initiated by Robert Kaliňák, the Minister of the Interior for the Smer Party at the time. The then Prime Minister Robert Fico, head of the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic František Imrecze, police chief Tibor Gašpar and Nitra oligarch Norbert Bödör were also supposed to participate in them. They allegedly planned to discredit President Andrej Kiska. The now cooperating accused Ľudovít Makó, who at the time headed the Criminal Office of the Financial Administration, was also supposed to be at the meetings. He arrived at the Government Office on Tuesday around 9:00 a.m. The reconstruction is also taking place directly in the prime minister’s meeting room, where the aforementioned meetings were also supposed to take place. NAKA also summoned František Imrecze, who will arrive later. Investigators must find out if his version matches Makó’s. NAKA police officers and lawyers are also on the scene.
