An as yet unknown man was supposed to set fire to a person and then kill himself. It was reported by the newspaper Plus ONE DAY. The police and firefighters are already on the scene. The man even managed to shoot one of the firemen. A crime scene is already on the scene. The police confirmed the information on the social network, saying that they received a report about the shooting from the Fire and Rescue Service shortly before eight o’clock, which were dispatched to the fire at a garden cabin in the Nové mesto district. “After arriving at the scene, one of the members of the HaZZ suffered gunshot wounds to his upper limbs. Several patrols of the Regional Directorate of PZ in Bratislava were immediately called to the scene, which secured the area around the scene of the incident,” the police wrote. She added that after entering the property, they found the body of a man – probably the shooter, without signs of life. “There was also a short firearm next to the man,” the police describe the situation. “The Bratislava police officers are intensively investigating the other circumstances of this case, we are also investigating possible other criminal activity in connection with this incident. We will provide more detailed information as soon as the situation allows,” concluded the police. The firefighters added on the social network that their colleague suffered three gunshot wounds to the upper limbs during the incident and that his life is not in danger. “Despite the dangerous situation during the intervention, the firefighters did not lose their presence of mind, provided their colleague with first aid and requested the assistance of the police. The firefighter who was shot was taken to the hospital,” HaZZ said on the social network.
