Benjamin Thomas (Cofidis), caught 400 meters from the finish and 64th in the 15th stage won by Jasper Philipsen: “It was a maximum effort in the final. I had stars in my eyes, I was on the 55×11 and I was sending everything I could, I was no longer thinking. It’s played on the razor’s edge. I tried everything and I thank Alexis Gougeard with whom we did a great number. We tried, we have nothing to reproach ourselves for. The peloton managed quite well, there were still organized teams and it is often the peloton that decides. At 5 km, it became urban again. I believed it. I’m still happy with what I did. »
