His death was accidental, they added in a statement, without specifying the circumstances of the death. Donald Trump announced on Thursday July 14 that his ex-wife had died, at the age of 73, “at her home in New York”. He had praised the “formidable” life of this former cross-country skier and model of Czech origin, who was his wife from 1977 to 1992. The couple had three children: Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric. New York police said they went to Ivana Trump’s apartment after calling 911 and finding her “unconscious and unresponsive”. According to the police, his death did not appear to be of “criminal origin”. According to the New York Times, police were looking to see if Ivana Trump had fallen down the stairs.
