NEWS Trnka has a reason to be happy! The court stopped the criminal prosecution in the Gorilla case – Topky.sk

Updated at 14:14 District Court Bratislava I stopped the criminal prosecution of former Prosecutor General Dobroslav Trnka in the Gorila case. The reason is the statute of limitations for the deed after it was reclassified as a misdemeanor. The resolution is not valid. The prosecutor filed a complaint against him. This was confirmed by the spokesman of the Regional Court in Bratislava, Pavol Adamčiak. The prosecutor of the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (ÚŠP) filed an indictment against Dobroslav Trnka for the crime of abuse of authority of a public official. According to the conclusions of the investigator of the National Criminal Agency (NAKA), the former head of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Slovak Republic did not prosecute all the crimes he learned about. Photo gallery (2) Source: TASR/Pavol Zachar The police said that Dobroslav Trnka should have taken over from businessman Marian Kočner an audio recording containing interviews of people from the business environment, politicians and representatives of state bodies. At the same time, suspicions of the commission of several criminal acts, especially of a corrupt nature, were supposed to emerge from the interviews. Dobroslav Trnka and two other people allegedly used the recording to blackmail financier Jaroslav Haščák.
