An American tourist who fell into the crater of the Italian volcano Vesuvius near Naples can talk about happiness in misfortune. This happened after he tried to retrieve his phone, which had slipped out of his hand while taking a selfie photo. The young man suffered injuries and still faces a fine. The American (23) reached the 1,281 m high volcano together with his family members. They bypassed the turnstile for tourists and continued along the road, which is not allowed to enter.
