The story will have been short-lived. Arrived at the post of assistant to Igor Tudor at OM, Mauro Camoranesi leaves (already) the Canebière according to L’Equipe. If the first had qualified the second as “right arm” for the future season, the former midfielder, however, did not seem to be going to stay. “Igor called me to help him at the start, while waiting to complete his staff,” he told the daily site. Camoranesi, world champion with Italy in 2006, would have already returned from the other side of the Alps to pursue his career as a head coach. According to La Provence , the Marseille coach was actually waiting for Hari Vukas to free himself from his post in Dugopolje (Croatia). “The two men worked together at Hajduk Split (twice), at Karabükspor, Galatasaray and Udinese”, recalls the daily, specifying that Camoranesi was therefore simply passing through while waiting for the latter’s availability.
