Ukraine, Msgr. Gallagher: “Pope will go to Kiev, when and how we don’t know”

“The Pope has the will to make the trip to Kiev. He will go, when and how we do not know”. This was reiterated by the Vatican ‘foreign minister’, Msgr. Paul Richard Gallagher, on the sidelines of the presentation of the Rimini Meeting. Gallagher reiterated that it will be a question of seeing how Pope Francis will feel after his trip to Canada at the end of the month: “We have to see after Canada, let’s see.” The Pope could only go to Kiev and not, as he would like, to Moscow to help the end of the war in Ukraine? “I don’t know. He’ll surely go to Kiev,” Gallagher observed.
