Bernard Slobodník also testified that he communicated with Ján Kuciak before the murder and gave him information about the Technopol case. According to him, Kuciak had studied the case very well. According to Slobodník, both Norbert Bödör and Tibor Gašpar had very detailed information from the investigation immediately after the murder, they called him “on the carpet” on the sixth floor and wanted to know why he was in contact with Kuciak. From the communication between Slobodník and Kuciak, only two messages were preserved in Kuciak’s cell phone, they exchanged greetings for Christmas and New Year, and in one they agree on the time and place of the meeting. Slobodník was then withdrawn from leave.
