The Kuciak case is again in the hands of the judges: The former police officer is to testify! – New time

Also on Tuesday, the trial in the case of the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak, his fiancee Martina Kušnírová, and also in the case of the preparation of murders of prosecutors, continues at the Specialized Criminal Court (ŠTS) in Pezinok. Bernard Slobodník, a former high-ranking police official, should be interviewed. In the case of the murder of a journalist and his fiancee, the court decides on the guilt of Marian Kočner and Alena Zsuzsová. The ŠTS initially acquitted them of charges, but the Supreme Court (NS) of the Slovak Republic returned the case to the first instance court last May. Three decisions are valid in this case. Miroslav Marček and Tomáš Szabó received 25-year non-conditional prison sentences. Zoltán Andruskó 15 years unconditionally. Four persons – Marian Kočner, Alena Zsuzsová, Dušan Kracina and Darko Dragič – are facing charges for the preparation of the murder of the current general prosecutor Maroš Žilinka, the current special prosecutor Daniel Lipšic and the former deputy general prosecutor Petr Šufliarske. Tomáš Szabo was expelled for separate proceedings. The order for the murders of Žilinka and Lipšice was supposed to arrive in the fall of 2017, and Alena Zs. was supposed to receive it. The injured prosecutors are not present at the hearing. Neither did the defendant Alena Zs., who requested proceedings in her absence.
