A lot of attention was drawn to Slafkovský, who was selected by Montreal as the first ever highest-drafted Slovak. The super-talent from the Tatras enjoyed the training and showed his hockey mastery to his teammates right from the start. Slafkovský and Mešár are currently at the development camp, where NHL teams try out young prospects and test them to see if they are worthy of the first team.
