Ex-Mayor of Dolný Chotár František Dora st. he goes to prison for 25 years. On Monday, the Supreme Court (NS) of the Slovak Republic confirmed last year’s decision of the Specialized Criminal Court (ŠTS), which found him guilty of ordering several murders, activities for the benefit of the criminal group of tentmakers, and economic crime. This was confirmed to TASR by Alexandra Važanová, spokeswoman for the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic. The Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (ÚŠP) explained on the social network that Doru st. convicted “for the crime of founding and supporting a criminal group, the crime of murder by participation, the particularly serious crime of premeditated murder by participation and fraud by complicity”. The prosecutor’s office further informed that his son František Dora Jr. received the same long sentence. He was convicted of fraud by complicity and the particularly serious crime of premeditated murder by complicity. Ladislav Alföldi received a total sentence of 25 years of imprisonment. Last year, ŠTS also recognized Roland Szamaránszke as guilty. Since he had already been sentenced to 18 years in prison, the trial court waived the sentence.
