Sama Lukonde Kyenge, Prime Minister of the DRC: “There are surrenders and this is the most important”

Published on :

In an interview with France 24 and RFI, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge takes stock of the first 100 days of the government of the Sacred Union.

On the economic front, the Prime Minister returns to the signing of an agreement with the International Monetary Fund, “awaited for more than ten years”.

The state of siege, decreed on May 6, 2021 in the eastern provinces of the country, has, according to him, allowed “more than 3,500 surrenders” of ex-combatants, “and it is evolving”.

Finally, he reconsiders the designation of the members of the Ceni and asks all the actors to “surpass themselves” in order to be able to implement the office of this commission.
