Another inflation aid is ready to be paid out, you need to apply for it. The Labor Offices will pay additional groups of people a 100-euro one-time allowance, you can apply for it before the end of August. The Slovak labor offices will pay other groups of people a 100-euro one-off contribution as part of the government’s aid aimed at mitigating the effects of inflation and thus the cost of living. The Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic informed about this, stating that it is necessary to apply for this subsidy. Persons from groups designated by the government can apply by e-mail or directly at the relevant employment office in their place of residence until the end of August this year. Persons who take care of a dependent child between the ages of six and 18 with a long-term adverse health condition can apply for assistance until September 30. This form of inflation aid is also intended for persons over 62 who do not receive a pension, a personal assistant and is also for caregivers who do not receive a cash allowance for caregiving, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health appoints. “Applications submitted after the specified dates will not be taken into account,” the Department of Labor pointed out. After the application is approved, the inflation subsidy will be provided at the next payment date for social benefits and contributions. Persons who take care of a child with a long-term adverse health condition prove that they meet the conditions for providing inflationary assistance by confirming the Social Insurance Office, according to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. A person over 62 years of age who does not receive a pension shall prove the fulfillment of the conditions by an affidavit. Caregivers who do not receive a cash allowance for caregiving must prove with a document from the relevant health insurance company that they were insured by the state for public health insurance for May of this year. The personal assistant proves the fulfillment of the conditions for the grant of aid with a copy of the confirmation of the remuneration paid to him as a personal assistant for the 1st quarter of this year, the ministry adds. If it has already been submitted, it is not necessary to submit it again. Part of the one-time aid was already paid out by the Department of Labor in June. At that time, he paid it automatically as part of the benefits provided to families with children through an increased child allowance. Likewise, persons in material need, surrogate parents, and caregivers who receive a cash allowance for caregiving in accordance with the specified conditions. This package represents a total amount of more than 105 million euros, the ministry calculated.
